Enjoy an afternoon of fun June 3rd at the Kemp Mill Swim Club!
The Kemp Mill Swim Club, a neighborhood pool located at 11805 Stonington Place in the Kemp Mill subdivision of Wheaton, Md., 20902, will hold its annual free open house for the community this Sunday, June 3, from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. (rain date: June 10, same times).
Visitors will be able to enjoy a leisurely dip in the L-shaped Olympic-sized pool, cannonball off the diving board into the 11-foot deep end, swim laps in the 25-meter competition lap lanes, play with their toddlers in the newly white-coated baby pool, climb the sparkling playground equipment, splash down the water slide, shoot hoops, challenge friends to shuffleboard, and compete with other teens in a game of ping pong — all while learning why this blissful oasis in the woods is a summer treasure they can enjoy regularly, too.
There’s a swim team that competes in the Montgomery County Swim League, raft nights every Sunday, group and private swim lessons on site available to members and nonmembers, regular pizza nights for families, a Snack Bar to keep you fed, many family themed events like yard game days, swimming for adults under the stars, and much more! The Kemp Mill Pool community prides itself on being family-oriented.
The pool is offering special deals right now on 6- and 10-week memberships to newcomers, which can be converted to full memberships at a further discount later in the summer.
The 10-week memberships are on sale right now for $375. The 6-week memberships are $250.
Membership at either rate also makes any children in the family eligible to join the swim team, too!
