Our doors will open wide at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28th!
Just three days to go! Is your swimsuit unpacked? Did you fix your goggles? Have you stocked up on swim diapers and a snug pair of rubber pants for your toddler? Did you buy a fresh latex swim cap yet? It’s time!
Your pool already is shipshape for your return, thanks to the volunteers who swept away winter debris, cleared brush, pulled weeds, hauled out the refrigerators and freezers, put in the ladders, cleaned the toilets, scrubbed bathroom floors, washed the deck chairs, set up the deck toys, vacuumed the carpet, replaced lightbulbs… the list goes on and on.
You’ll find the baby pool freshly white-coated, too, to protect those little feet, and rotting picnic tables have been replaced…
… new lighting, new changing table pads, a new lane rope reel, and much more! Time to set your watches for opening day!
The first Raft Night is set for June 5, 5 p.m. until closing. We’ll be holding our first Pizza Night the same day, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. with pizza from Ben Yehuda available for $3 per slice; 2 slices for $5; a whole pie for $18, while supplies last. And you’ll be able to preorder your dinner in the pool office until Thursday! Plus you’ll be able pay for your on-site purchase by credit card on the pool deck! Our annual Open House also is slated for June 5, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Please help us get the word out with this flyer! We’re offering two kinds of trial memberships this year:
5 WEEK TRIAL MEMBERSHIP – $200
The 5-week Trial Membership allows a family to enjoy KMSC for five contiguous weeks this summer. During the five weeks. Trial members are entitled to all member benefits and events. We hold weekly family activities like Raft Night, Pizza Night, and MUCH MORE! Plus, trial members can take advantage of the swim lessons we’re offering through Tollefson Swimming. 10 WEEK TRIAL MEMBERSHIP – $400
The 10-week Trial Membership entitles a family to ALL the benefits of a 5-week membership, PLUS their children can join our swim team, the Kemp Mill Kangaroos! This is an excellent opportunity for your child. Our swim team has practices throughout the week, and most of the meets this year scheduled for weekday evenings, with some on Saturdays and Sundays. The ‘Roos will be coached by Tollefson Swimming. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting season! If you know someone who would like to take advantage of this offer, send him or her here . You also can help us make this Open House a success by donating an item that can be included in our door prizes, or by volunteering your time to welcome guests, sell concessions, or provide extra hands for one of the children’s activities that day. The swim team’s kickoff party also will be June 5, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. during our first Raft Night and Pizza Night sale. Team members will get their ‘Roo T-shirts, the team photo will be taken, the new coaches will be mingling with the crowd, and everyone will be tie-dying.
